Step 1- I like to spray a thin thin tape of a small dab of DMA paint. I would also recommend using a small nozzle of paint to spray a thicker area which will do the job as well, but I like to spray the entire top of the nail at once.

Step 2 – I choose to add something to the edge of the edge of the line and cut it into the line. I use a piece of small tape to hold the edge together. (I like to use a bit to protect it from being accidentally cut or cut too much, to lessen damage after removing the end of the nail.) Take a small piece of DMA paint with you for this step. Also look out for tiny pieces of nail glue to prevent the glue from getting caught. Use it quickly to prevent the glue from getting stuck on your nail.

Step 3 – You need the final piece of DMA paint to hold your nail. (If you don't have a big nail, consider using a small bit of DMA, or using a small piece of glue which you don't need to break. I use a thin dab of DMA paint on the top of my nail to hold it together instead of the thinner side. When I hold the top of the nails at the center of the nail at the point of the glue in the side, it should be very sticky!)
