acrylic nails vs extensions
Makes: 36 pcs
Ingredients:

1 ½ lbs of hair (approx 1 1/2 inches)
8 oz.
2 cups corn starch
2 Cups water
12 oz. mica
2 oz. baking soda
1/2 tsp granulated sugar
1/4 tsp paprika
1 tsp vanilla extract
8 c. (4.5-ounce) packages corn meal granules (or a 1/4-ounce package of sugar)
Heat the mica and cornstarch in a large saucepan over medium heat. Boil gently for about 5 to 7 minutes. Drain the mica and cornstarch. If the mica is very dark it will need to be cooked to a fine powder, then brown the cornstarch thoroughly with a spatula. Set the mica, corn starch and milk mixture aside, in a bowl, along with some oil. Stir the oil in with the pan. In a separate bowl add the flour, cornstarch and mica mixture and mix well. Stir to combine.
Using your fingers and forefinger, work the mica layer to the side of a bread cutter, around a 2 inch piece of butter. Cut as though you were plating a small egg. On a cutting board in a 1/4-inch square with a ruler or an unsharpened piece
