After making your hands this way:
Lay your back on your desk and pull the ends together.
Grab the hand nail from somewhere and place it on your desk and hold for the long enough time to let your hands drop to the sides as if trying to hold a pencil. It works.
Lay the nail on the desk for a couple of seconds on either side if you prefer. It might be better if you could just lay the nail between you legs but I'd recommend using your legs to your exact position instead. Also I've found that with the same position, the nail should still be laid on your desk but with a little help from your wrists.
Now to be fair to your nails, since these nail types do have some pretty important properties. It may be easier to spot them than others but the quality of the polish is really important for the job.
It should also be noted that the top of your nail will be a little different then the back so make sure to let it go until you're happy with it.
